At Thayer, we pride ourselves in not just completing the job, but performing the job as skillfully, efficiently, and safely as possible. Our Safety Director, Bill First, takes a very aggressive approach when it comes to safety. He is determined to make our employees aware of job hazards and the importance of maintaining very safe work habits. To ensure that our company is meeting or exceeding the strict safety standards, we all take part in the following:

Bi-annual company-wide safety meetings

Monthly 15-member safety committee meetings

We will never send unsolicited e-mail to anyone.

Safety memos and health newsletters in paychecks

Job site tailgate meetings

Job hazard assessments

Near mishap reports

Detailed accident investigations

Random drug screening
